ABOUT

Victoria grew up in multilingual, multicultural Montreal, Quebec, to Arab-American parents setting the foundation for a life long interest in exploring the dichotomies between the so called developed and developing worlds or the east and west. Victoria holds a MA in International Development and prior to embarking on a career in photojournalism gained considerable experience in the field of humanitarian assistance working for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees before turning her attention to documenting the people of the region and the events unfolding around them.
